Chelsea summer signing Jorginho has revealed that he was blown away by the Premier League club's training facilities at Cobham when he first arrived in London.

Jorginho, who accompanied Maurizio Sarri from Napoli and signed for Chelsea in the summer Premier League transfer window, has quickly established himself as a central figure in the new system at Stamford Bridge.

The Italy international has continued to remain as Sarri’s deep-lying playmaker in the infamous 4-3-3 formation that was tried and tested to good effect in Serie A last season.

The midfielder also registered his first ever goal in Chelsea colours against Huddersfield Town during the opening weekend, while his commanding presence in midfield against Newcastle United earned him a lot of admirers.

The 26-year-old has looked the part during his involvement with his new club so far and revealed that he was very excited when he saw the facilities on offer at Chelsea’s training complex in Cobham.

"The Premier League is really nice, it's wonderful. It is also quite difficult to explain certain things”, Jorginho was quoted as saying by beIN Sports.

“You need to experience them personally to take it all in.

"When you come to a training centre [Cobham] with 38 football pitches, there is no need for any comments.

"You just need to go see it", he added.

Jorginho is currently on international duty with Italy as they prepare to take on Poland and Portugal in the UEFA Nations League.
