Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa feels that his side's opponents this weekend, Birmingham City, are in a false position as far their league position is concerned, as they are a team that concede a minimal amount of goals.

The Blues are currently placed 20th in the league table, just one point ahead of relegation battlers Reading and are yet to win a single match this season.

Their defensive record though is solid, as Garry Monk's men have only conceded seven goals in eight games.

The Leeds United boss insists that Birmingham's defensive record is impressive and it poses a threat for his team as it will mean that they will find it difficult to score goals against Monk's side.

"It’s a team that concedes very few goals. By itself it’s a difficulty", Bielsa said at a press conference.

"The few goals they conceded doesn’t correspond with their ranking so the fact that they conceded few goals means an important difficulty for us."

The Whites are currently placed at the top of the pile with 18 points from eight games and will want to stretch their unbeaten run in front of their home fans on Saturday.

Monk, who previously managed Leeds, will on the other hand look to spoil the party and register their first win of the 2018/19 season.
