Leeds United managing director Angus Kinnear has tipped his hat to Marcelo Bielsa's backroom staff, dubbing them crucial to the success which has been enjoyed at Elland Road so far.

Bielsa was appointed as Leeds head coach in the summer and brought with him his own backroom team as he set about making his mark in Yorkshire.

Pablo Quiroga has slotted in as an assistant head coach, alongside Diego Reyes and Diego Flores, while Salim Lamrani is acting as a translator.

Benoit Delaval operates as Bielsa's fitness coach, having worked with the Argentine at Lille, while Jorge Garcia Valera is an analyst.

They have all backed up Bielsa's work as the Argentine tactician has taken the Championship by storm and Kinnear has dubbed their work ethic "frightening".

Kinnear wrote in the club's matchday programme: "All the players deserve credit for the way they have unconditionally embraced the change.

"While Marcelo has grabbed the headlines for his leadership and impact, I know he would be the first to credit the team of loyal backroom staff who have followed him to Yorkshire.

"Their passion and industry are almost frightening and they have been central to the revolution."

Leeds have yet to be beaten in the Championship this season and are already being widely tipped for automatic promotion to the Premier League under Bielsa.
