Rangers winger Eros Grezda has revealed that he is enjoying his football in Scotland and admits that he has to wait for his chance to establish himself as a regular at Ibrox this season.

Grezda joined Rangers from Osijek on transfer deadline day in August and scored his first goal for the club, after netting a brace at Ibrox, during the Gers’ 7-1 win over Motherwell last Sunday.

The Albanian has had to wait patiently for his opportunities in Glasgow after being restricted to just 236 minutes of playing time since joining the Old Firm giants, with him needing to build up his fitness.

Steven Gerrard decided to hand Grezda his first start for Rangers during the Premiership clash against Motherwell on Sunday and the winger responded with a stellar showing.

Grezda, who was directly involved in three goals against Motherwell, revealed that he is enjoying everything but the weather in Scotland after making the switch to Rangers.

The 23-year-old also admitted that he has to wait for his chance at Ibrox, especially considering the fact that the wingers at the club have impressed so far this season.

"Day by day, I am starting to feel a lot better”, Grezda was quoted as saying by the Herald.

"The wingers have done really well at Rangers, so I just need to wait and take my chance.

"I like life in Scotland – apart from the weather.

"I am happy and really enjoying being at Rangers.”

Grezda is currently preparing for Albania’s UEFA Nations League meeting with Scotland on Saturday at the Loro Borici Stadium in Shkoder.
