Wolves are poised to warn clubs interested in midfielder Ruben Neves that he is not for sale at any price in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Telegraph, with Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal all having been linked with the Portugal international.

Neves has impressed during his time at Wolves, boosting his stock and proving that he can excel in the English game – and his performances have not gone unnoticed.

Liverpool have been mooted as admirers of the midfielder, while Manchester City and Arsenal are also keen.

But interest in Neves is not restricted to the Premier League, with Italian champions Juventus having been lining up a January swoop for his services.

Wolves though do not want to let Neves leave and it has been claimed that the club hierarchy are preparing to make clear that they will not sell the player for any price in the January window.

Neves only signed a new five-year contract with Wolves in July and the Premier League side view him as a key player.

He has linked up well with countryman Joao Moutinho at Wolves under boss Nuno and the club want him to continue.

Despite Wolves being prepared to warn clubs off Neves, they could still find themselves tested with offers in the fast approaching January transfer window.
