AC Milan are in touch with the entourage of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to understand the financial margins of a possible move to Italy for the Spaniard.

The midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the season and a number of clubs are positioning themselves as his next destination.




The 31-year-old is considering his future and is tipped to leave Chelsea at the end of the season on a free transfer, but there are suggestions he could leave as early as January.

AC Milan have been tracking Fabregas for over a year and have sensed an opportunity to get their man in the coming months.
 


And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, AC Milan sporting director Leonardo have got on touch with London-based lawyer Darren Dein regarding Fabregas’ future.

Dein is part of Fabregas’ entourage and Leonardo has been in contact with him to understand the financial margins of a possible transfer in January or next summer.

AC Milan are currently willing to offer him a contract until 2021 and are ready to offer him wages to the tune of €3.5m per year.

Fabregas has also been contacted by Chinese clubs, who are ready to offer him a lucrative deal.
