Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has refused to add more fuel to the speculation of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba returning to Turin in the future.

More reports have come out this week about the deteriorating relationship between Jose Mourinho and Pogba and their confrontation following Manchester United’s 2-2 draw at Southampton.

The Manchester United manager accused the Frenchman of disrespecting the shirt with his performances and the midfielder blamed Mourinho’s tactics for holding back the team.

It has given more rise to speculation over Pogba’s time at Manchester United coming to an end, with suggestions that he wants to engineer a move back to Juventus.

However, Paratici refused to add much weight to the rumours and insisted despite Juventus’ appreciation of Pogba, the Frenchman remains a Manchester United player.

The Juventus deal-maker was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Calciomercato.it: “Paul is a great player, who we are very fond of.

“But at the moment he is a Manchester United player.

“We are now enjoying the players we have, who are just as good.”

It remains to be seen how Mourinho and Pogba's relationship will develop ahead of next month's transfer window.
