Leeds United are not in the mix for Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood, it has been claimed.

The Elland Road outfit are widely tipped to bring in another goalkeeper when the transfer window opens in a matter of weeks, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell the only senior shot-stopper at the club.

Leeds did have Jamal Blackman on loan from Chelsea, but a leg fracture has seen his Elland Road stint ended.

It has been suggested that Leeds could look at Sheffield Wednesday's Westwood.

But according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are not in for the experienced Owls shot-stopper.

Westwood has yet to feature for Sheffield Wednesday this season after he picked up a knee injury and could be on the move next month.

The custodian is now fit again and turned out for the Owls' Under-23 side in a clash against Crewe Alexandra on Monday.
