Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has insisted that Chelsea and Liverpool target Christian Pulisic will not be sold in the January transfer window.

The United States winger has been attracting the interest of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Premier League heavyweights.

Manchester United and Liverpool have been heavily linked with having an interest in the winger and could consider making a move for him at the end of the current season.

However, Chelsea are the ones who are reportedly pushing to land Pulisic in January and the Blues are ready to pay big money to land the wide-man.

But Zorc insisted that Dortmund will not be selling any of their top players in January and he is confident that Pulisic will remain at the Westfalenstadion for the rest of the season at least.

Speaking to German magazine Sport Bild, the Dortmund deal-maker said: “We will not sell any important players in the winter, who are indispensable for our sporting goals.

“That’s a matter of fact.”

He added: “I strongly assume Christian will still be wearing the BVB jersey in February.”

The winger has failed to hit the heights of last season for Dortmund but has still netted three goals and has four assists to his name this season.
