Marcelo Bielsa has indicated that he is wary about his Leeds United players becoming complacent because of their good form.

Leeds are currently on a four-game winning streak and are second in the league table, just one point behind Championship leaders Norwich City.




Despite injuries to key players, Leeds have managed to churn out results and keep the momentum going as they look to mount a credible promotion challenge this season.

There is real hope at Elland Road that this could the year Leeds return to the top flight and Bielsa admits that he is pleased with the performances of his players.
 


He feels a good run of form is always a source of confidence for the players, but insisted that it could also allow complacency to creep, which could affect the results.

Bielsa indicated that his players cannot rest on their laurels because of their recent results.

When asked about Leeds’ form, the Argentine said in a press conference: “The only thing I can do is be happy about it.

“If you take the teams and see how you link the different results you will see you will have ups and downs for each team.

"When you win the previous game you take the next game in better conditions, but you do not have any guarantees.

“Sometimes, when you have a positive cycle, your self-esteem is strong and sometimes you become more relaxed and when you are more relaxed you are weaker."

Leeds will travel to the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday to take on Bolton Wanderers in an away league clash.
