West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that the Hammers could do with some of their injured stars returning soon with a busy fixture list coming up.

The east London outfit managed to make it four wins in a row in the Premier League for the first time since 2014 when they beat Fulham 2-0 on Saturday, but Pellegrini hasn’t had the chance to rotate his squad as much as he would have wanted with all the injuries.

Manuel Lanzini is yet to make an appearance for the Hammers, Andriy Yarmolenko and Jack Wilshere have missed a large part of the season, while Lucas Perez has picked up niggling injuries and missed the previous game for West Ham.

And Pellegrini hopes the injured players will return to the first team fold soon.

“I always say that for me it is very easy when everyone is available”, Pellegrini told West Ham United’s official website.

“It is very difficult when you have eight players less for each game, as you must be forced to maybe use the same players in too many games.

“But I hope they will recover as well as they can because we need them.”

With the win against Fulham, West Ham moved to the top half of the table for the first time this season and will hope to stay there when they take on Watford next weekend.
