Arsenal have seen an enquiry for Torino defender Nicolas Nkoulou knocked back, but the centre-back is now also on Tottenham Hotspur's radar.

The Gunners are looking to make additions to their squad in the transfer window this month, but boss Unai Emery is shopping with limited funds.

Emery identified Nkoulou as a potential addition and Arsenal lodged an enquiry with Torino about his availability.

But, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Torino let Arsenal know that they consider Nkoulou unavailable for transfer until at least June.

However, Nkoulou is not just attracting attention from Arsenal as it is claimed Tottenham are now looking at him.

While Torino consider Nkoulou to be a key man, it is unclear if they could resist a substantial bid for his services.
