Queens Park Rangers skipper Toni Leistner believes that his team could have got something out of their last game against Leeds United, and is sure the R's can emerge victorious on Sunday.

The Hoops are scheduled to play the Whites for the second time within a month, when the teams lock horns in the FA Cup.

The last meeting on 8th December ended in a 2-1 defeat for Sunday's hosts, though the club skipper believes that his team could have got something out of it and were unlucky to lose.

But this time around Leistner believes that anything can happen and is sure QPR can knock Marcelo Bielsa's men out.

“We played Leeds a few weeks ago and it was a tough game but I think we did well and could have got something", the 28-year-old told his club's official website.

"This weekend it’s a cup game and everything can happen. I think we can beat Leeds but we have to prepare well.”

Having moved from Germany last summer, the FA Cup will be something new for Leistner and he insists that he is very much looking forward to experiencing it.

“It’s a prestigious cup for sure!

"In Germany I sometimes watched this competition as well as the Premier League and I am looking forward to experiencing it."

Leeds head into the tie on the back of successive league losses.
