Cagliari have enquired about the possibility of signing Serie A winger Marko Pjaca, who has also been linked with a move to Fulham.

Pjaca joined Fiorentina on loan from Juventus last summer but his spell could be brought to an end this month.

The winger has racked up just eight appearances for La Viola this season and is keen to play more regular football in the latter half of the season, even though he is not pushing to leave Fiorentina.

Fulham are reportedly ready to sign him on a permanent deal from Juventus this month and Parma are considering signing him on a loan move in the winter window.

And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Cagliari have jumped into the chase and have been in touch with Juventus to probe the possibility of signing Pjaca in January.

Juventus are expected to consider offers for Pjaca if the player pushes to leave Fiorentina in the middle of the season.

But for the moment the Croatian is keen to continue to Fiorentina despite the speculation over his future.

A decision is expected to be taken after 20th January when the Italian clubs return from their winter break.
