Leeds United could look to bring in a winger or a creative midfielder if they can find the right kind of players in January.

Marcelo Bielsa has indicated that the departures of Samu Saiz and Lewis Baker in January have left him short of numbers in the squad for the second half of the season.

Leeds are in the market for players in the January window and it has been claimed that signing a goalkeeper is the priority for the club this month.

But Leeds are also aware that other areas of the squad could need strengthening in order to ensure a sustained push for promotion this season.

And according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Leeds recruitment team are considering signing a winger or a creative midfielder in the January transfer window.

Bielsa wants to add more creativity to his squad but has also stressed the importance of finding players who are better than what Leeds have in their squad.

While Leeds want to strengthen the squad, they will only move if the right kind of player becomes available for a move in the winter window.

For the moment, Leeds want to bring in a goalkeeper and then assess their options.
