Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona target Frenkie de Jong could take a decision on his future this week before the Dutch domestic league resumes after its winter break.

The 21-year-old midfielder is considered to be one of the best young midfield performers in the world and some of the top clubs are looking to snare him away from Ajax.

The Dutch giants are almost certain to lose De Jong in the summer and his representatives have been in talks with a few clubs in Europe over a transfer.

Barcelona are considered to be in pole position to sign him, but Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly agreed on a fee with Ajax and he is also one of the top targets for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Ajax want De Jong to make a decision soon and according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, the midfielder could soon make a decision on what he wants to do in the summer.

The Dutchman could make his decision public by the end of the week before Ajax returns to action at the weekend following a winter break.
