The agent of Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves target Amadou Diawara has revealed there has been no contact yet with his client's potential suitors.

Diawara, who has fallen out-of-favour under Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli this term, has been linked with several clubs, including Premier League pair Tottenham and Wolves.

The Guinean has grown increasingly frustrated with a lack of involvement in Italy, with the club also open to cashing in on a permanent deal for the midfielder during the transfer window this month.

However, Daniele Piraino, who is Diawara's agent, has revealed there has been no contact from any club yet for his client.

“Diawara away from Napoli in January? There has been no contact with any club”, he told Italian outlet Calcionapoli1926.it.

Despite the persistent rumours linking Diawara with a move away from Napoli, he could now be set to stay at the club unless the picture changes later in the window.

Napoli are believed to be only interested in a permanent transfer for the Guinean, who they value at an estimated fee of around €40m.

Diawara, who arrived at the San Paolo from Bologna in the summer of 2016, has a contract that runs until 2021.
