Napoli are not set to battle Arsenal and Chelsea for starlet Francisco Trincao, it has been claimed.

The teenage attacker is currently on the books at Portuguese club Sporting Braga and has been linked with a host of Europe's top clubs in recent months.

Chelsea are keen on Trincao, while Arsenal have begun to scout him. From Italy, Juventus and Inter are firmly on Trincao's trail.

It had been suggested that Napoli had joined the chase for Trincao and would provide competition for their rivals for his signature.

But, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Napoli are not in the race to sign Trincao.

As such, Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter are the clubs involved in the chase for the teen attacker.

Braga president Antonio Salvador has stressed that he considers Trincao to be a standout talent of his generation and he is not keen on losing the attacker's services.

However, the Portuguese club could receive an offer that they and Trincao would find hard to refuse.
