Leeds United full-back Luke Ayling has warned his team-mates that they are likey to encounter very loud Stoke City fans at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday in Nathan Jones' first home league game in charge.

Stoke have struggled for consistency this season and are on a four-game winless run in the Championship, which has seen them drop down to 15th from ninth in the league table.

Leeds, on the other hand, picked up their first win of the year with a commanding display against fellow promotion chasers Derby County last week.

The Whites have lost their last two away games in all competitions, and Ayling feels the side will come up against a packed stadium on Saturday in what will be manager Jones’ first home game in the Championship.

“I haven’t played there before, so I don’t know what it’s like”, Ayling said on LUTV.

“But from seeing [them] on the TV from years and years in the Premier League, people always say it’s a hard place to go.

“It’s bound to be loud because it’s Jones’ first game in charge at home, so the place will be loud, the place will be rocking.

“They are bound to come out and put on a show for their new gaffer.

"They are learning every day and are all playing for their shirt when a new gaffer comes in.

“So I’m pretty sure we’ll have the best Stoke to beat, but I’m sure that if we play our best football, it should be okay.”

Leeds will hope to strengthen their place at the top of the table while Stoke will look for their first win under their new manager when the two sides meet on Saturday.
