Lyon have been keeping tabs on Arsenal linked winger Nicolas Pepe with a view to potentially signing him next summer.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast winger has been in terrific form for Lille this season and it has led to interest from several top clubs in Europe.




The club and the player very quickly ruled out any interest in leaving in January, but the winger is expected to be a hot commodity by the time the summer window rolls out.

A plethora of clubs are considering taking him away from Lille and Arsenal are reportedly one of the sides who are interested in taking him to England at the end of the season.
 


But according to French outlet Buzzsport.fr, there is Ligue 1 interest in Pepe as well as it has been claimed Lyon are considering signing him amidst fierce competition.

The Ligue 1 giants are gearing up for the summer and are compiling a lot of players they want to target at the end of the season.

Lyon are well aware of the interest in Pepe, but are prepared to try their hand as well in order to sign him next summer.

The winger has scored 16 goals and provided ten assists in 23 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
