Tottenham Hotspur loanee Tom Glover has revealed he wanted his loan switch to Helsingborgs to go through quickly so that he could start playing in front of the club’s amazing supporters.

Glover, who joined the Spurs academy in the summer of 2014, has now sealed his second stint away on loan from the club with Helsingborgs in Sweden.

The 21-year-old had been with the Under-23s at Spurs since returning from a loan spell at Central Coast Mariners last summer and will now make the temporary switch to the Olympia Stadium in Helsingborgs.

After confirming his switch to the Swedish top flight side, Glover has revealed he wanted the deal to go through quickly so that he could start playing in front of the club’s amazing supporters.

The Spurs shot-stopper admitted that everything happened quickly after he came back to London following the international break and reiterated he was impressed by the team and their fans during the 3-1 win over Norrkoping on Sunday.

"Everything happened very quickly”, Glover told the club’s official website.
