Leeds United attacker Pawel Cibicki is relishing the chance to get his career back on track under Jimmy Thelin at Swedish side Elfsborg.

The former Malmo man has been loaned to the Swedish top flight side until the summer after finding himself out of Marcelo Bielsa's plans at Elland Road.

At Elfsborg he has been reunited with Thelin, under whom he played at Jonkopings Sodra.

Cibicki had a spell away from Malmo on loan at Jonkopings, where he found form and progressed his game.

And the Leeds star is delighted to strike up the relationship once again.

Cibicki told TV4: "I had him at Jonkopings and he got my career going and vice versa, I might have got his career going as well.

"It went well for us at Jonkopings and it was give and take, so we were both winners from it."

Cibicki will be looking to once again find form under Thelin during his loan spell in Sweden and could yet return to Elland Road in a bid to inject life into his Leeds career.

However, the Swedish side, who started their 2019 season with a home draw against Hammarby, could look to sign Cibicki on a permanent basis should he impress.
