Kevin Malcuit's agent has revealed that the Napoli defender is desperate to feature against Arsenal as he bids to lock horns with close friend Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli are due to go up against Arsenal in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening.

Full-back Malcuit is friends with Arsenal hitman Aubameyang and agent Bruno Satin admits his client is keen to play.

The agent also believes that while the tie is open, Arsenal's defence is their weak link, meaning Napoli must target goals.

"For Napoli, to win the Europa League would be great satisfaction", Satin told Italian radio station Radio Crc.

"Napoli's line-up is unknown, but Malcuit wants to play in it.

"Kevin is a close friend of Aubameyang.

"With Arsenal, anything can happen, but on a defensive level they are weaker.

"Napoli have a good chance of scoring two goals at the Emirates.

"They must not be scared and should not only think of defending."

Ancelotti has handed Malcuit, 27, 19 outings in Serie A for Napoli so far this season, and he featured in the Italian side's Europa League last 32 win over FC Zurich and last 16 triumph over Red Bull Salzburg.
