Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente has insisted he is not worried about his contract situation at Spurs, while commenting on continued talk of a return to Athletic Bilbao.

Llorente, who has been restricted to just 765 minutes of playing time in all competitions this term, is out of contract at Tottenham in the summer.

Spurs have yet to initiate any contact with the striker  about extending his stay in north London and he is tipped to move on in search of regular playing time.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future at Spurs, Llorente has insisted he is not worried about his contract situation, as he is fully focused on finishing the season on a good note.

The 34-year-old also confirmed that Tottenham have not spoken to him regarding an extension and maintained it does not worry him one bit at the minute.

"They have not told me anything yet [about my contract]”, Llorente told Cadena Ser's El Larguero programme.

"It does not worry me.

"The truth is that I am very focused on this final part of the season, which is very important.”

Llorente has been continually linked with a return to former club Athletic Bilbao, but is cool over what might happen.

"Yes, whatever God wants, everything is fine”, Llorente replied when he was asked about a return to Athletic Bilbao.

The Spaniard also added that he will see what happens in the future after he was asked about Athletic Bilbao president Aitor Elizegi saying he will always be of interest to the club.

"Very good, let's see what happens”, Llorente added.

Llorente has scored seven goals and registered four assists from his 26 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
