Roma have slapped a price tag on midfielder Steven Nzonzi, who has been linked with Premier League pair Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Giallorossi paid around €30m to sign the midfielder from Sevilla last year, but his performances this season have underwhelmed many in the Italian capital.

The Serie A giants are planning a major shake-up of their squad in the summer and Nzonzi is one of the players who could be allowed to leave for the right price.

Unai Emery, who worked with him at Sevilla, has been linked with wanting him at Arsenal, while Nzonzi has also been mooted as a target for Tottenham.

Roma are prepared to let him go, but according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the club want at least €22m before they agree to sell him in the summer.

The Serie A giants do not want to take a big loss on the midfielder and believe at that figure they would be able to balance the books.

The midfielder is also believed to be keen to leave the club and prefers a move to England.

Nzonzi previously played for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City in the Premier League.
