Young Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Walker-Peters insists that every game counts in the fight for the top four and against Huddersfield Town his side did a professional job to go out and get the win.

Spurs ran out comprehensive 4-0 winners over the already relegated Terriers.

Mauricio Pochettino made as many as seven changes to the starting line-up from the match against Manchester City midweek and the youngster insists that his team did a professional job to get the points.

And Walker-Peters believes that the result was just what the doctor ordered.

“It’s exactly what we needed”, Walker-Peters told his club's official website.

“We’re fighting to get into the top four so every game counts, every point counts and we did a professional job."

For Walker-Peters, another pleasing aspect was the fact that a side that had not played together often gelled to produce the result.

“The team is a team that hasn’t played together very often, we got the opportunity and all the training we’ve done shows that even though we don’t play together too often, we gel and have a good chemistry."

Tottenham must now switch their focus to the Champions League, where they are in action at Manchester City this evening as they look to book a place in the semi-final.
