Chelsea talent Kylian Hazard will return to Cobham from his loan spell at Belgian side Cercle Brugge after picking up a season-ending injury.

The 23-year-old, who is the younger brother of Eden Hazard and Thorgan Hazard, joined Cercle Brugge in Belgium on a season-long deal from Chelsea last summer.

Despite not making a single appearance for Chelsea at senior level, Hazard made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Belgian top flight side this term.

However, Hazard is now set to return to Chelsea after picking up an injury that will rule him out for the remainder of the season.

The winger will no longer play a part for Cercle Brugge after tearing a muscle and will work on his recovery at Cobham under the guidance of the Chelsea medical staff, according to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad.

Hazard, who joined the Blues in the summer of 2017, netted four goals in 17 league appearances during his first loan stint away from the club this term.

And it remains to be seen whether he can buck the trend and convince Chelsea to keep hold of him in a bid to enjoy a breakthrough year to the first team next season.

The Belgian, who is currently with the Under-23s, has a contract with Chelsea that runs until 2020, just like his elder brother Eden.
