Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that Manchester United and Real Madrid target Kalidou Koulibaly is not available for sale in the summer.

The 27-year-old centre-back is considered one of the best in the world in his position and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

Napoli are set to offer him a new deal to double his contract at the end of the season and the club remain confident that they can hold on to him despite interest from major clubs.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are believed to be keen to offer big money, but Ancelotti stressed that Koulibaly is at least worth €150m as he is the best defender in the world.

But the Napoli coach also insisted that he is one of the non-transferable members of his squad at the Stadio San Paolo.

Ancelotti told Italian daily Tuttosport: “Koulibaly is worth €150m, but he is not for sale.

“For me, he is the best centre-back in the world and has further room for improvement.”

Koulibaly has done or said little to suggest that he is desperate to leave Napoli so far.
