The agent of Arsenal and Liverpool linked full-back Nicolas Tagliafico has revealed that Ajax do not want to sell the defender this summer.
Tagliafico has been a key part of the Ajax team that has shocked and surprised many this season by reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The defender has caught the eye with his performances against teams such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in Europe’s elite club competition.
Clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in snaring him away from the Dutch giants, who are expecting an assault on their top stars in the summer.
But his agent, Ricardo Schlieper, revealed that there is no price in mind for Tagliafico as he is one of the players Ajax do not plan to sell in the coming months.
The agent told Italian outlet FcInterNews.in: “Ajax have not set a price because they don’t want to sell him.
“We will see how the market develops.”
Inter are interested in the defender too and Schlieper insisted when the time is right his representatives will find the right club for the Argentine.
“The management of our players in Italy is done by Branchini.
“Tagliafico has always been our priority for Italy, but at the appropriate time, we will find the right place.
“We will see what happens.”
