Marseille are ready to sell midfielder Morgan Sanson, who has been linked with Premier League side Wolves, with a club source admitting that in the need to raise cash, the player could be an ace card.

Sanson, who made the switch to Marseille from Montpellier in the summer of 2017, quickly established himself as an integral first team player under Rudi Garcia.

The 24-year-old helped Marseille finish as runners-up behind Atletico Madrid in the Europa League last season and has attracted the attention of a number of clubs due to his exploits on the south coast.

Premier League side Wolves were recently linked with making a move for Sanson, though those close to the midfielder played down talk of a big bid from Nuno's men.

Marseille are now showing signs of being ready to sell Sanson and a club source told French sports daily L'Equipe that the midfielder has qualities that appeal to Premier League clubs, while also putting a price on him.

"He is the one who will have the most offers this summer", the source said.
