Former Ajax midfielder Theo Janssen thinks that the transfer value of Kasper Dolberg, who has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, has plunged this season.

Dolberg has long been marked out for big things, with the striker regularly being linked with a big money move away from Ajax.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Napoli have all been linked with the 21-year-old in recent months, but Janssen feels Ajax should think themselves lucky if they get €6m for the striker.

The former midfielder said on Dutch talk show VTBL: "At the moment, Dolberg is Ajax's third choice striker.

"Two years ago he was worth €80m.

"If now Ajax get €6m for him, then that is a lot."

Dolberg has endured an injury-hit campaign this season, making 24 appearances in the Dutch top flight and scoring eleven goals.

He has been used mainly from the bench in Ajax's Champions League run and is yet to hit the back of the net despite eight outings in the tournament.

It remains to be seen if any clubs will look to lodge bids with Ajax for Dolberg in the quickly approaching summer transfer window.
