Negotiations between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach over Liverpool linked Thorgan Hazard have stalled.

Hazard has confirmed that he has a personal agreement in place with BVB to move to the Westfalenstadion during the summer transfer window.

Clubs such as Liverpool have also been linked with having an interest in the winger, but the Belgian has put Dortmund in pole position to secure his signature.

But negotiations between the two clubs have been fraught between the two German clubs and, according to German magazine Sport Bild, talks have stalled.

Monchengladbach are in no mood to sell the player for a fee less than the €40m mark, but Dortmund’s valuation of Hazard is not even close to that figure.

For the moment, the Bundesliga giants don’t want to offer more than €25m for the Belgian, who has a year left on his contract with Monchengladbach.

With the two clubs not even close to reaching an agreement, the negotiations have stalled as they bicker over the transfer fee for Hazard.
