Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Gelson Fernandes has insisted that Chelsea are more than just a one-man team that depend on Eden Hazard’s individual brilliance.

Hazard is likely to be part of the Chelsea starting eleven as Maurizio Sarri is expected to field a strong side at the Commerzbank-Arena tonight in the first leg of their Europa League semi-fine tie against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German side have shocked many with their run to the last four of the competition and are keen to cause one more upset by knocking the Premier League giants out of the Europa League.

All eyes are expected to be on the Belgian as he looks to lead Chelsea to Europa League success, but Fernandes stressed that the Blues are not a one-man team.

He is aware of the damage Hazard can cause but stressed that Eintracht Frankfurt cannot just concentrate on stopping him as Chelsea have other quality players who can do major damage.

Fernandes told German outlet Fussball Transfers: “There is no anti-Hazard plan.

“Chelsea don’t rely solely on individual class or players.

“He is a very important player for them, but they have other good players as well.”

Hazard has been sparingly used in the Europa League this season and has only made five appearances in the competition for Chelsea.
