Maurizio Sarri has insisted that he sees himself at Chelsea next season despite the speculation over his long term future at the club.

Sarri’s future at Chelsea has been subject to much speculation with suggestions that the club could sack him if he fails to secure Champions League football for next season.

The Italian has also been linked with a return to Italy where he remains a much-venerated coach for the work he carried out at Napoli and the kind of football he promoted in Serie A.

Roma are believed to be in talks to assess whether Sarri is interested in moving to the Italian capital and he also been linked with the coach’s job at Serie A giants AC Milan.

However, Sarri stressed that he sees himself working at Chelsea and in the Premier League next season despite all the talk of him returning to Italy in the summer.

The Chelsea boss told Sky Italia: “For my part, I still feel I’ll be the Chelsea coach next season.

“I still see myself in the Premier League, which as I have always said is a league that intrigues me.”
