Chelsea talent Izzy Brown does not fit under Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa, it has been claimed.

Brown was absent from Leeds' matchday squad at Ipswich Town in their final game of the regular Championship season, something which means he will end the 46-game campaign having played just nine minutes of football in a white shirt.

The midfielder has been recovering from injury for most of his Leeds spell and did pick up a recent ankle knock in Under-23s action.

But, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Brown does not fit under Bielsa, meaning his lack of game time goes to more than just bad injury luck.

Leeds will take part in the playoffs over the coming days, but the odds would appear to be against Brown featuring for the Yorkshire giants.

The midfielder is due to return to Chelsea, where he remains under contract, when his loan spell at Leeds officially ends.

He has enjoyed Under-23s action in a successful Leeds side this season, but failed to make the first team impact hoped for.
