Inter are seriously considering making a move for Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is on loan at rivals AC Milan, during the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman joined AC Milan on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea last year and Rossoneri have an option to make the move permanent for a fee of €35m.

AC Milan have reportedly decided against taking up the option due to financial considerations and the player’s recent behaviour.

Chelsea have already fielded inquiries for Bakayoko ahead of the summer and it has been claimed he could continue in Milan next season.

According to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, Inter are seriously thinking about adding Bakayoko to their squad before the start of the new season.

The Nerazzurri want to strengthen their midfield in the summer and Bakayoko has emerged as a possible target for the club.

Inter are likely to approach Chelsea to sign the Frenchman on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of next season.
