Everton and Newcastle United also hold an interest in Swansea City winger Daniel James, but the Welsh side and the player are happy with the offer from Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror.

Manchester United are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Swansea for the 21-year-old winger and the deal is expected to be around the £15m mark.  
 



James was close to joining Leeds United in January before Swansea backed out of the agreement in last hours of the window but the Whites continued to put legwork into the deal ahead of the summer.

But the Whites have been blown out of the chase by Manchester United’s offer and despite interest from other Premier League clubs, James is set to join the Red Devils.
 


Everton and Newcastle were also in the race to sign him, but it has been claimed that player is happy with what is on offer from Manchester United.



And Swansea are also happy with the £15m fee Manchester United are prepared to shell out to sign James this summer.

The two clubs are said to be thrashing out the minute details of the agreement and James is likely to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing as Manchester United manager.
