Reims are expecting a big offer from England to land on their door for Chelsea tracked goalkeeper Edouard Mendy this summer.

The 27-year-old has emerged as one of the top shot-stoppers in Ligue 1 over the course of the season and is likely to leave Reims in the coming months.

He recently signed a new four-year contract but there are suggestions that it will not stop him making a move from the club during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon recently confirmed that he has been tracking Mendy and believes he is the best goalkeeper in Ligue 1 at the moment.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Reims are expecting that an English club will knock on their door with a big offer for the 27-year-old custodian this summer.

Reims signed him from Marseille in 2016 and his development has piqued the interest of several clubs.

Marseille have also been linked with an interest to re-sign him, but Reims are hopeful a big money offer from England will arrive.
