Leeds United look set to be without centre-back Pontus Jansson against Derby County at Pride Park this afternoon.

The Whites are due to lock horns with the Rams in the first leg of their Championship playoff semi-final tie and had been hopeful Jansson would be fit enough to play.

But in a sign the Swede may not have managed to recover from injury in time to feature, he has arrived at Pride Park in normal clothes.

The Leeds squad arrived at the ground in training gear but Jansson was in normal clothes.

As such, the signs are that the centre-back may have lost his battle to be fit to feature against Frank Lampard's men.

Jansson has been a key player for Leeds this season, linking up alongside Liam Cooper in central defence.

It remains to be seen who Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa would turn to if Jansson does miss out.
