Rangers midfielder Ross McCrorie insists his team are determined to end the campaign on a high at Kilmarnock, while he is sure Steven Gerrard will add to the squad over the summer transfer window.

The Light Blues beat Scottish champions Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox in their last Scottish Premiership outing, stretching their winning run to six games.

Gerrard's men make the trip to Kilmarnock for their final league encounter this Sunday.

A win at Rugby Park would complete a clean sweep of post-split wins, handing Rangers a big boost heading into the summer.

Following a morale-boosting Old Firm win, Rangers will fancy themselves to get the job done at Killie, and McCrorie, who has been a key part of the Gers squad this season, has urged his side to go for their seventh win on the trot this Sunday.

"It would be a great achievement for us and we’d want to continue that form in to next season. If we can finish on a high it’ll be great for team morale", McCrorie told his club's official site.

"The full team want to finish on a high and then come back for pre-season ready and raring to go."

McCrorie also backed his Gerrard to add more quality to the squad this summer.

He added: "I’m sure that over the summer the gaffer will bring in a few additions and it’ll make the quality in the team even higher, so we’re looking forward to next season.

"We’re obviously disappointed with the end of this season here, so we’ll look to rectify that at the start of next season."

Having risen through Rangers ranks, McCrorie has now emerged as an integral member of the squad, making 20 appearances for the Glasgow outfit this season.
