Contact With Many Clubs – Agency of Chelsea and Tottenham Linked Youcef Atal

Youcef Atal's management agency claim that the Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur defender is on the wishlist of a number of clubs and is good enough to play in the Champions League.

Nice have enjoyed a fine season from the Algeria international and want to keep him, despite attention from a number of Europe's biggest clubs.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli have all been linked with Atal.

The defender's management agency have admitted there has been contact from a number of clubs, but insist they will first wait to hear Nice's plans for their client going forward.

The agency, Grinta, were quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Mercato: "We will give priority to seeing the project at Nice, who are his club and for who we have the greatest respect.

"There are contacts with many clubs.  Napoli? We prefer not to speak about any particular club.

"Atal is good enough to play in the Champions League."

Atal could further increase his stock by turning in good performances at this summer's Africa Cup of Nations, where he is expected to turn out for Algeria.
