West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop has chosen Felipe Anderson's goal against Crystal Palace as his team's goal of the season, lauding the number 8 for his fantastic technique. 

The Hammers welcomed Crystal Palace to London Stadium in the Premier League on 12th August. 

 



The visitors silenced the home crowd by drawing first blood through James McArthur after only six minutes of play. West Ham restored parity three minutes into the second half through Robert Snodgrass, before Javier Hernandez turned the game around just past the hour mark.

Anderson, who had not enjoyed much freedom until that point, produced a piece of genius only three minutes after Hernandez's strike.  
 


He picked up the ball at the edge of the area, took a couple of touches, and curled the ball into the far corner, handing West Ham a two-goal cushion. 



When asked to pick out West Ham's goal of the season, Diop, without much ado, picked Anderson's decisive strike against Crystal Palace. 

Speaking to West Ham United's official website, Diop said: "The best goal we scored this season? Let me think… Not mine against Fulham or Wimbledon

Anderson made 36 appearances for the Hammers in the Premier League in the 2018/19 season, pitching in with nine goals and four assists.
