Manchester United and West Ham United both keen on Duvan Zapata, who remains a popular figure for a host of clubs.

Zapata caught the eye by netting 28 goals across all competitions for Atalanta last season and was linked with several sides over the course of the summer transfer window.

He has continued where he left off in the current campaign, scoring three times in four Serie A games so far, and Atalanta could be tested for his services when the transfer window swings back open in January.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Zapata is admired by both Manchester United and West Ham from the Premier League.

Manchester United have been criticised this season for being toothless in attack, with the Red Devils letting both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez go in the summer without signing a replacement.

West Ham meanwhile have enjoyed a promising start to the season and sit in fifth spot, having taken as many points from their first six games as fourth placed Arsenal and third placed Leicester City.

The Hammers could choose to invest in the January transfer window if a European spot for next season is within touching distance.
