Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keen on landing Timo Werner, but no club are as yet ready to meet his release clause, according to German magazine Sport Bild

Werner has impressed in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig and a release clause set at around €55m this summer has made him an attractive target.

It had been widely thought that Werner would move on this summer, with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in pole position to snap him up.

However, the changed landscape of football and its financial effects have led to thoughts Werner could stay put and instead move in 2021.

Liverpool are interested in Werner, as are the Reds' Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, none of the trio of Premier League sides are yet keen to meet the clause in the striker's RB Leipzig contract.

It remains to be seen if the Bundesliga club might agree to let Werner leave for a lower price point.
