Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is one of the two options Bayern Munich are considering at the moment to replace Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season.

Tuchel will leave at the end of the season and Bayern Munich’s search for a new manager has not gone according to plan.

Xabi Alonso, their top target, decided against leaving Bayer Leverkusen and Julian Nagelsmann has signed a new contract until 2026.

Emery is pushing Aston Villa to get into the Champions League next season but the Midlands club could lose him in the summer.

According to German daily Bild, the Spaniard is one of two managers the German champions are considering.

Emery has impressed many with the way he has turned Villa into a club that could play in the Champions League next season.

Bayern Munich have taken note of the work he has done at Villa Park and have their eyes on him.

Current Austria head coach Ralf Rangnick is the other candidate the club are considering at the minute.

Bayern Munich are claimed to have already spoken to Emery.
