Paulo Fonseca is a potential option for West Ham United, but the club are yet to contact the Lille coach, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The 51-year-old Portuguese has been regularly linked with a move to England over the years and is again wanted in the Premier League.

West Ham are considering parting ways with David Moyes at the end of the season and the club are looking at several options.

They had a meeting with Ruben Amorim on Monday but the talks were reportedly not positive.

It has been claimed that West Ham are also considering Fonseca as a potential option to replace Moyes.

The Lille coach is very much appreciated within the West Ham hierarchy and he is being looked at as a candidate to become their next manager.

However, the Hammers are yet to contact Fonseca or his entourage over a potential move to the London Stadium.

His current deal at Lille runs out in the coming months but Fonseca is currently focused on the French side’s end-of-the-season games.
