Nottingham Forest out on loan star Jonathan Panzo admits he is in the dark on his future, as the end of his spell at Standard Liege nears.

Panzo completed a loan switch to the Belgian side in the January transfer window after cutting short a stint with Cardiff City.

The 23-year-old has so far turned out seven times for Standard Liege and is enjoying his time at the club.

Standard Liege have an option to buy in the loan agreement, but Panzo does not know if they will trigger it and admits as far as his future is concerned he is playing the waiting game.

“At the moment I don’t know”, he told Belgian outlet Voetbal Krant when asked about his future.

“I will wait for Standard’s decision.

“I am happy here, even if I want to play more.

“The people are nice, the team is good and my integration has been quick.”

Standard Liege are currently in a group battling for a spot in the Europa Conference League next season, but sit fifth in the six-team group.

Panzo will be hoping to get the vote to play against Sint-Truiden this weekend.
