Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been emerging as a serious candidate for Bayern Munich but they would have to wait until the end of the season to finalise a deal.

Ten Hag’s stock amongst Manchester United fans has never been lower with his side losing 4-0 at Crystal Palace on Monday night.

His future at Manchester United is under the scanner but he has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the summer.

The German champions have already been in contact with his agent to register their interest in him.

According to German magazine Kicker (via Fussball Transfers), Ten Hag is now gradually emerging as the man they want to succeed Thomas Tuchel in the summer.

Bayern Munich’s search for a new manager has not gone according to plan but they are now turning towards Ten Hag.

They are considering other candidates as well but the Dutchman is now a top target for the club.

However, any deal would have to wait until the end of the season as Ten Hag wants to remain focused on Manchester United’s end of season.
