Giovani dos Santos could be offered a late escape route from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mexican midfielder has been targeted by a trio of Turkish Super Lig clubs, with Besiktas, Galatasaray and Istanbul all alerted to Dos Santos’ desire for regular first team football.

A switch to La Liga outfit Sevilla had been lined up for the former Barcelona schemer, until Spurs boss Harry Redknapp pulled the plug just hours before the summer transfer window slammed shut, leaving the 22-year-old unhappy.

Dos Santos has been included in Spurs’ 25-man squad for the Premier League season, but has laid down a marker that he will not be satisfied with being a bit-part player at White Hart Lane.

And now Redknapp will be given the opportunity to think again over a possible sale.

The Turkish "big three" are all keen on Dos Santos and are expected to enquire over his availability before the Super Lig transfer window closes on Monday evening.

Dos Santos has prior experience of Turkish football, having spent time on loan at Galatasaray last year, clocking up 14 appearances for the Turk Telekom Arena outfit.

The Mexican international would surely jump at the opportunity to join one of Turkey’s biggest clubs and once again enjoy regular playing time.
