Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out Wesley Sneijder or any other players landing at the club during next month’s transfer window, apart from the already-signed Lucas Moura.

The Brazilian attacking midfielder is due to officially join his new team-mates when the January window opens in the new year, with the €40M deal to bring him from Sao Paulo having been agreed during the summer.

Sneijder, who is out-of-favour at Italian giants Inter and is expected to leave the Nerazzurri in January, has been linked with PSG and club sporting director Leonardo is mooted to have enquired about the Dutchman’s availability.

But for Ancelotti, it is clear Moura will be PSG’s only signing in the winter window.

"The transfer window for PSG is very clear", Ancelotti told a press conference earlier today.

"There will only be one arrival and that’s Lucas Moura.

"There won’t be any others."

The former Chelsea manager did admit that Sneijder fits the bill of what PSG would look for in a player, but denied that he will join the side.

"Sneijder has the right qualities to play for any club in the world, but that does not mean he will come here or that we’ve had talks with him.

"He’s not coming, of that I’m sure."

Ancelotti’s words also rule PSG out of any further additions in next month’s transfer window, taking what would have been a key buying club out of the market.
